Roth Enterprises: C.O.P. program

In late 2006 Christopher Roth came up with an idea to try and help pay thanks to the hard working men & women of local law enforcement agencies. He named this idea Communities of Praise or the C.O.P. program. He decided that each year on New Year's day he would do his best to give back to the local law enforcement. He wanted the day to be about the officers not about him. He wanted to make sure that each and every officer understood how much it meant to him and to his family that they where out there day in and day out protecting all of us, even on days that they would much rather be at home with thier families. His 1st year wasn't anything big as he only had minimal time to prepare for the event. Christopher purchased 3 sheet cakes that he donated. One cake going to the Galveston County Sheriff's department officers and patrol, one cake going to the jailers working at the Galveston County jail and the third cake was donated to the Galveston Police department. Cris hopes that in the years to come this program will be expanded, not only in the amount that he can give but also in the departments he can give to. It is in his believe/hope that this program could eventually reach the entire county or even farther.
